Overview
You can use this website without providing any personal information. We only process personal data where this is necessary to provide the website or to handle your enquiry, or where you have given your consent.
You are not obliged to provide your data; without contact details, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
Hosting and server
This website is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When a page is accessed, the server processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Our web server is configured not to store access logs. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser.
No cookies, no tracking
This website does not store or read any information on your device – neither cookies nor comparable technologies. Consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG is therefore not required, and there is no cookie banner.
We do not use any analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts are loaded directly from our server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other providers.
Contact by phone, e-mail and form
If you call us, send an e-mail or use the contact form, we process your details (e.g. name, phone number, e-mail address, message) to answer your enquiry and arrange appointments. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for other enquiries.
The contact form does not store any data on our server: it opens your own e-mail program with a prepared message that you send yourself.
Our mailbox is operated by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (processor). We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Health-related information
For some treatments, health-related information is important, for example allergies, diabetes or pregnancy. If you share such information with us, we process it solely for your treatment and only with your explicit consent (Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Please do not send health-related information via WhatsApp or unencrypted e-mail; discuss it with us by phone or at the studio instead.
Contact via WhatsApp
You can message us via WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland). WhatsApp is only linked on this website, not embedded: a connection is only established when you click a WhatsApp link.
WhatsApp processes your data according to its own terms, possibly also in the USA. The parent company Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR). We use your message solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You can always reach us by phone or e-mail instead.
Google Maps (only after a click)
On the homepage and the contact page you can display a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded when you click “Load map” – until then there is no connection to Google.
After your click, data such as your IP address is transferred to Google; Google may set cookies and process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). It applies only to the respective page view; when the page is reloaded, the map is no longer displayed automatically. More information: Google privacy policy.
External links
This website contains links to external services, such as the studio’s Google reviews, route planning in Google Maps or our partner brands. Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click such a link; their privacy policies then apply.
Job applications
If you apply to us, we process your documents to carry out the application procedure (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, § 26 BDSG). If no employment results, we delete the documents no later than six months after the procedure has ended, unless you have consented to longer storage.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20) at any time. You can withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). An informal message to info@schoenmeier-studio.de is sufficient.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia
